Counselling / Psychology / Mental Health

I believe that seeking counselling is a meaningful step toward understanding yourself and creating positive change. Sometimes we begin therapy because we feel overwhelmed, stuck, or notice that certain patterns in our lives or relationships are no longer working. In our work together, I aim to provide a warm, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and move toward the balance and direction you are hoping for.

My approach to counselling is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in Adlerian therapy. This perspective focuses on understanding your life experiences, relationships, and sense of belonging, and how these shape the ways you see yourself and interact with the world. Together, we can explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while identifying strengths and practical strategies that support meaningful change.

I work with individuals and couples facing concerns such as anxiety, life transitions, parenting stress, relationship challenges, and self-esteem struggles. In couples counselling, I often incorporate principles from the Gottman Method to help partners strengthen communication, manage conflict more effectively, and rebuild connection and trust.

I also enjoy supporting parents and individuals who are balancing different cultural expectations, family roles, or intergenerational dynamics. Having lived within both Eastern and Western cultural contexts, I bring cultural curiosity and sensitivity to my work. I offer counselling in both English and Mandarin and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.
